crystal pool

there is a place
that not many find
for it is so close and near
to being perpetually far away
that it is a paradoxical
place
in the center of this place
rests a tiny pool
of crystal and water
when I look into this
rippling gem, I see
only myself
sparkling in the cloudless sky
(when I look into this pool)

place
